WHAT IS P-LAN?

P-LAN stands for a Private Local Area Network or Private LAN created by Vivant to address the high cost of MPLS circuits (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) and Quality of Service.

WHO IS P-LAN DESIGNED FOR?

Private LAN is created for any multi-location business that requires 100% up-time. All P-LAN circuits utilize a fiber from each location to the colo center.

HOW DOES P-LAN WORK?

Using Private LAN, all of your locations are connected together using a fiber network and the traffic is routed through a Private LAN to Vivant’s Colo and from there, it is sent to the public Internet
